Graduating Honors in STEM from the top Highschool of Makati City did not stop me from wanting to be a lawyer.

Graduation Day Senior High School. This is the literal End Game.

When UPCAT was fast approaching, I had crossroads between taking a pre-law or a pre-med. It was when we served the Army General Hospital Taguig as doctor clerks for our work immersion that I knew I wanted to be sitting with prosecutors, creating or ratifying laws, and defending human rights and democracy when I get older. Now that I am 24, studying in my dream university with my dream degree in research and writing, and closer to law school than ever before, it is fun to look back on the days I was too scared to grow up having no clue of who I actually wanted to be or having no sense of authenticity.

Some 1,500 senior high school students from seven public schools in Makati City attended today’s commencement exercises held in two batches at the Makati Coliseum (My Makati Post). In this photo, I am at the fifth row on the right side

Here are the list of my favorite moments in highschool that altered my biochemistry. While most think I was very nerdy, I actually did more than “just” studying.
